Clearly not just after Hurricane Rita has passed that theres destruction there. However, theres damage from these storms all over the nation. Look outside at your Local Gas Station. It is $3.54 at my gas station for the highest and the regular oil it is $2.96. Now its NOT just the oil thats killing us, I believe it is also going to effect us over the winter espically the northern states of America. Instead of Hot and Humid with Intense Hurricanes we will have Cold Intense Blizzards. This is just speculation but, I have some evidence that might support this:
1. Its Mid-September now just a few days after fall started and we are still pretty warm it took just a sudden cooler air mass just to bring us back to normal temps were we should be this time of the year. A change of pretty much a matter of days. Usually its a gradual change. One week we have mid 80's the next we have mid 70's? Its to quick usually its over the course of a month. So does this mean it will be mid 60's in Mid-October and than next thing you know its December and its colder than usual and more higher levels of precipitation in the form of snow.
2. The South gets Hot and Humid with intense storms in the summer while the winter the north will get extremely cold and intense blizzards.
3. The people in the north have already gotten snow in high amounts even 2 FT. or more so imagine as the winter progresses for every year. We could get 2.5 FT or more snow. This could kill electricity espically with high winds and freezing cold temperatures. No Electricity = No power for oil.
Now Americans are already in for a hard time with oil prices being very high. This Winter will be very hard. However, that was just a Side Topic I will talk more about this during the winter or the first snowfall which ever occurs first. Now, I had to walk to work today which is what I always do. I saw 6 or 8 people walking or biking rather than driving to work. Me I still prefer walking or biking to work but, if its to far than mass transit if IT IS ABSOULTY NECESSARY TO DRIVE than let it be. If you have to goto the store for a few things walk or bike to it if it is far though or to much to carry drive or mass transit.

Its not even a month since Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf of Mexico is already facing another Major Hurricane. Hurricane Rita, she has gone a long way in the past 36 Hours. One minute she's just a tropical storm the next she is a Catorgory 2 storm and forecasters believed thats just about as strong as she would get however, they were proved wrong and Rita has become the Strongest Catogory; Catorgory 5 topping out right now with 165 MPH Winds moving very slowly, this isnt good because, it can gain alot of strength before it even hits. Hurricane Rita, is expected to hit Galveston, Texas. However she is so large that she will even effect New Orlenes. Nothing as bad as Katrina but still enough to do damage espically if the levies fail. Two Major Hurricanes in less than one month apart. It makes you wonder, I have questions that should stir up your mind and really make you wonder:
1. Is your area prepared for a hurricane strike? Espically one as major as Katrina and possibly as Rita.
2. What is causing this wild weather?
3. Clearly after Katrina, Oil shot up alot than what we are used to. Are we prepared to take a hit in the heart of Americas Oil Production Center?
4. How badly will the Economy suffer?
5. What will happen to the people from Katrina? The People from Rita?
6. How high wil oil go?
7. Is there price gouging in my[your] neighborhood?
If Galveston gets a 11 to 17 foot storm surge Galveston will be underwater. Well in a couple of days I will post and keep in touch on my coverage on Hurricane Rita. So I Pray for those who decided to stay behind and brave ou the store. Again My God Help Them All. Once again I will keep in touch to talk about how this affects my community and the odds are your community give or take its severity.

Okay people listen up I have officially updated Jimbo's Workout page for at least the next 3 months worth of updates. Now Im back here and ready to help out this blog. I would like to say one thing thugh more than ever. Expect most of my blog post to be during the weekend as It is school once again. I come with some very good news every once in a while I will post a rand ehow or wikihow article. Some that I have made others that I have not made. my first WkikHow wil be posted Sunday September 25th. In other news. I am very confused on what I should do in this situation:
I have some $330. Now $330 can buy some really cool things. But Im only interested in 2 really cool items. This is what I would consider:
Samsung SDC-353 DV Camcorder
Creative Zen Vision
Look for the Poll On The Sidebar to put your vote.

Good news I have updated My Blogs. Jimbo's Workouts and this blog have been updated! Also its that time again. Countdowns So here they are:
Fall Starts[Northern Hemisphere]: 7 Days
One Year Ago: 13 Days
First School Vacation Days: 20 Days
Now that that is out of the way. I will be busy so I will try to rework my schedule to make sure that my blogs arent left behind in the times. However, in other news. Hurricane Ophelia seems to be down south and "The Katrina Effect" has made many leave there homes for this hurricane so they wouldnt have to suffer the same fate as those down south. While it is movin north its not going to hit me. I will probably get rain and wind but nothing severe eough to shut me down forever and unable to post more. So thats good news :)

Its the first day of school. To be quite frank I have ONLY one bitchy teacher. I dont really care for her. Maybe that will change over the course of the year. I got like 3 good teachers and the rest are okay. I dont really need alot though (materials wise) for these classes. Which is good news. So who knows. However to take the good with the bad my gym class sucks and its not really that good. However, On certain days I can leave 7th period and theres a regular 9 period school day. So Im pretty lucky there.

Okay it isnt tuesday but ill be ethier to tired or busy to do anything. So heres the final countdown.
MY BIRTHDAY: 2 Days
Posted by Jim at 11:29 PM 0 comments
Its been a week now since Hurricane Katrina made landfall. Here are somethings that have ben accomplished:
One The People are Out- Over half of the New Orleans population is safe and evacuated.
The Breeched Levy is Plugged Up- The levy is now plugged up by sandbags.
Pumping Can Now Begin- The pumps can now begin the task of pumping out the water in the city and surronding neighborhoods.
However there is still people being air lifted from there homes by Black Hawk Helicopters. The believed death toll could hit 10,000 if it hasnt already as your reading this. People are going back to there homes to retrive things of high value to them.
The sadest part is that in the attics of these people homes are people who are probably dead from Starvation, Dehydration and Lack of Oxygen in such a small place. What is more upsetting is that some people have lost there entire families to the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
However, is it really natures fault or is our fault people werent rescued in time? Answer the poll on the sidebar here to find out how some people feel. Was it the case these people who were evac'd so late because, of Rasicsm - Miscommunication - Bad Team Effort or These peoples Income Levels?
On The Scientific Note... Scientist believe where in an active 20 to 30 Year Cycle. Other scientist think Global Warming is the cause of these recent rounds of destructive hurricanes. Some scientist believe given 20 to 30 years from now New Orleans will be off the map. A final group of scientist believe that a decrease in Marsh land that acts like New Orleanes first line of defense is lossing acres each day.
This isnt just effecting people down south eithier. Have you looked at the Gas Station Oil Prices? Today my van needed gas but we only had enough for two gallons. My van takes 20 Miles to The Gallon. So from where I live thats ONLY enough to goto New York City and not have enough to make it back. In my communty we were coming close to $2.75 before katrina hit the oil refineries down south but now forget it. We cannot even go anywhere without seeing the minimum off $3.25 ANYWHERE in my community. Is this just going to just make more of a burden to the American Worker and Business Man? I say yes, people dont need oil to power there bikes or there legs to get around. I believe Public Transportation is a better option for those who cannot get around.
So like an old person who was working on getting Alzhiemers and fell down and had a concussion now actually has Alzhiemers so is the same story with Oil. The Alzhiemers being higher prices and the big fall down and concussion being Hurricane Katrina now we actually have higher prices. You can recover from a fall and concussion but you cant get rid off Alzhiemers maybe slow it down but not get rid of it. Slowing it down would be releasing the oil reserves. Eventually though Americans are going to stop driving and then the Car and Oil Companies are going to eithier one, go broke or two, realize "Hey no one is buying our cars we should invest in Electronic cars or the hyrdogen powered cars."

Okay I sid much earlier this morning that I was going to show you some ideas I had for creating an Alternative energy source. Its really ONLY ONE IDEA but I like the idea:
1. Q: What if the power goes out? How will we get to our destination than?
A: If the power goes out there will be small corner generators that automatically go on to power the electricity to its street on the road OR there will be a storage unit in the car that will store the electricity whenever the power goes out. You will have though however a certain amount of time before all power is out.
2. Q: What if there was a runaway bus or car how will the police stop them or the car?
A: The small corner generators on each street corner will automatically shut off all power to that street. They will be on though back up power until they run out and will eventually end up to become the suspect on foot. Police will have longer lasting car back-up generators so police can still catch up to the suspect even when the suspect is on foot.
3. Q: What about if you live in a rural community? Poor Community?
A: Its a national project eventually people in rural and or Poor communities will get there share of the National Monorail System.
4. Q: How do Vehicles Get On There In The First place?
A: The Design is quite simple. On the bottom of the car is the Female End which has grappling hooks to hold onto the Male End theres a small rolling platform the stays underground which gets the power is recieved through there. These are installed in a garage or driveway entrance.
5. Q: How fast can vehicles go on this system?
A: Depending on Town, State and City laws thats how they go. For example your not going to go 30 MPH in a 60 MPH Highway. These rods get bigger so more power can be recived in the car. Each car has a set speed they all go at. You can control the vehicle just like you would a normal oil running car

Its Already starting to cool down. I think I can make a pretty good idea of how good it will be for the next 4 months with temperatures so here it goes:
Beginning of September- 70's
End of September- 60's
Beginning of October- 60's
End of October- 50's
Beginning of November- 50's
End of November- 40's
Beginning of December- 40's
End of December- 30's
Now thats good to see. I just hope to have a White Christmas and a Very Cool and Crisp Thanksgiving Holiday.

In todays world it ONLY feels like its about saving up for oil. Just today I see 3 Gas Stations and juut because, the cheaper of the three was selling at well a cheaper price they were forced to shutdown earlier than usual. The second one was having a long line and the third one had barely anyone. Really ONLY high class cars. Now whats scary is not just the prices but the fact people are riding and biking to where they want to go today more than drive. In my community its becoming all to common. Hey, people will be healthier. Later on today I will post what I think is a good idea for alternate energy source for Automobiles. On that note I leave you with a funny picture that actually might seem true.

I have decided to have my party for my 16th Birthday on September 10th heres the info:
Date: September 10th
Time: 4 PM to 7 PM
Place: My House
Now after the Party I have decided to POSSIBLY GOTO THE MOVIES to see Transporter 2
Now thats a movie you will need to bring your own money from home however because, well everyone wants to see it. Its $9.25 for each ticket @ Loews Cineplex in Levittown.
I have also decided to have this party for 3 reasons:
1. Its right after the Labor Day Weekend. So everyone wont be doing anything special.
2. The Movie is not to old to see so the mad rush to see it should be done.
3. Certain Family Relative who couldnt make it to My Little Brothers party will be able to make it for mine.
